Why “The Arts” and “Technology” are important

Where would the arts be without its tools? The historical tools of the artist aided in the spread of art, tools such as the chisel and mallet for a sculpture, or a painter with a canvas and brush, or movie maker with his/her camera and speakers. Computer technology is today’s greatest tool for the artist of every variety. In this decade, every few months there is a technological improvement on the basic tools that started with the invention of fire and a sharpened rock with a man/woman in a cave, thousands of years ago.

The technology of ink making, the printing press, the pencil, typewriter, the computer, the internet, the digital camera have all advance the way artist work and get there art to the masses. And this is why Computer Village is committed to art.
